I understand that support and guidance are crucial in building confidence and feeling like you are taking good care of your baby. As a young first-time mom, I had no experience evaluating if my baby was latching and feeding well. Consultants did come and help me latch in the hospital, but they did not give me any skills to be confident in my own ability to latch and evaluate my baby at the breast. At Legacy Lactation Services, our goal is to help you build confidence in YOUR ability to latch and assess your baby feeding at the breast.

My issues turned my nursing career toward women and children, especially for moms trying to breastfeed their babies. With eighteen years of experience in women’s services and seven years as an international board-certified consultant (IBCLC), I will provide you with personalized assistance to help ensure a proper latch for you and your little one.
